A Rabbit is for life not just for Easter

Jollyes The Pet People promotes responsible pet ownership by paws-ing rabbit sales over Easter

Rabbits will not be on sale at UK pet retailer Jollyes from Thursday 6th to Tuesday 11th April to remove temptation of an impulsive purchase.

Preventing the risk of unwanted bunnies being abandoned after Easter, the bunny ban applies to all Jollyes 86 stores across the UK.

Phil Turner-Naylor from Jollyes said:
“Rabbits are an intelligent animal and can be lots of fun, but they can live up to 15 years which is a huge commitment. At Jollyes, we’re passionate about all animals and believe that the lifelong responsibility of any pet should be considered, researched, and prepared for.”

While rabbits won’t be available for sale during the Easter period, customers can still hop to Jollyes as it will be offering plenty of pet-friendly Easter treats and toys.

Of course, as all responsible dog owners know, it will also be reminding pooch parents of the dangers of theobromine in regular chocolate, which is toxic for dogs.

Jollyes offers dog-friendly alternative easter eggs from just £2.00 including an Easter Choc Egg, and a yummy alternative for cats for just £2.99.
