Tapeworms can be caught from fleas, which can carry the larval stages of the tapeworm and can be ingested by the pet when it grooms itself. These cat de-worming tablets are sugar-coated and meat flavoured, which can be easily swallowed or mixed with a meal. Suitable for all cats and kittens over 6 weeks of age, this cat medicine is not recommended to use in animals with hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the excipients. Do not use during pregnancy but can be used during lactation.

The recommended dosage is 20mg/kg pyrantel and 5mg/kg praziquantel with 1 tablet per 4kg bodyweight, 1kg - 2kg (2.2lb - 4.4lb) 1/2 tablet, 2kg - 4kg (4.4lb - 8.8lb) 1 tablet, 4kg - 6kg (8.8lb - 13.2lb) 1.5 tablets and 6kg+ (13.2lb+) 2 tablets. The pack contains 2 tablets, which works in a single dosage, but needs to be repeated if the condition persists.
