As cats groom themselves, their saliva forms a sticky substance around the fur which can easily be swallowed. If enough fur accumulates, it can form a large clump that is too large to pass through the intestinal tract, causing a life-threatening blockage. To eliminate this risk, consider feeding this James Wellbeloved Adult Hairball Turkey. This type of dry cat food helps prevent hairballs build-up by encouraging the cat to groom and swallow less hair.
Insoluble pea fibres bind to the cat"s hair and carry it through its digestive tract, where it eventually excretes it in its faeces. In this way, the cat is less likely to develop hairballs in the stomach or intestines. Furthermore, it is free from beef, pork, soya, wheat, eggs or dairy products that can cause adverse food reactions. It doesn’t contain added artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, making it ideal for cats with sensitive stomachs.
The main ingredient of this hypoallergenic cat food is turkey meat, which makes the food delicious and offers the goodness of vitamin B, selenium, magnesium, zinc, phosphorus, sodium and potassium. It also delivers omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids for healthy skin and a shiny coat. The turkey dry cat food also contains yucca extract to reduce stool odour and chicory inulin to enhance healthy gut bacteria along with taurine, which is essential for the health of the eyes and heart.

Cats like this dry food
I like the fact that the cats are eating them they had another top brand before but I felt that it wasnt helping one of the cats with his hairballs as much as I hoped. So far he seems to be OK but need to give it more time.
