This mains operated clipper comes complete with a powerful professional standard motor, designed to be robust and cope with most types of animal hair. Precision ground blades are produced from rust resistant, high carbon steel meaning they are durable, will stay sharper for longer and cut the hair more efficiently. The taper lever on the side of the clipper smoothly moves the blades to give variable cutting lengths ranging from 0.8mm to 2.5mm. The guide combs give additional cutting lengths of grades 1 - 4. Grade 1 is 3mm, grade 2 is 6mm, grade 3 is 10mm, and grade 5 is 13mm. All aspects of design have been considered in the manufacturing of the Multi Cut, durability, comfort and handling have been carefully thought out resulting in a lightweight, easy to control clipper. Oil is included and should be used to maintain the blades, so that a superior cutting quality is maintained.
Over many years Wahl have developed a comprehensive range of pet care products. These products are designed to meet the needs of pet owners who wish to care for and groom their animals at home. The Wahl Multi Cut Pet Clipper has been tried and tested to ensure its suitability for the job.
Not all dog coat types are suitable for clipping, in particular double coated breeds including, but not limited to, Labrador, Husky, Chow Chow, Malamute, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd and Pomeranian.
Clipping may result in irregular patches of alopecia and a condition known as ‘coat funk’.
If you’re not sure what type of coat your dog has or if they have matting, it is best to seek out professional advice first.
