ProRep Spider Life Substrate is part of the species specific 'life' range of substrates and has been created to meet the needs of spiders and invertebrates originating from a variety of different habitats.
Even spiders from dry habitats will live in humid microclimates and in captivity a substrate should be used that will help create conditions in the wild. Spider Life is a specially blended mixture of natural products designed to hold essential moisture and release it slowly to raise the humidity inside the enclosure; while the range of particle sizes gives it stability so that it is even suitable for burrowing species.
The substrate is also suitable for a wide range of other invertebrates such as millipedes, cockroaches or scorpions.
