The Komodo Compact Lamp UVB 10% Es 26W is especially recommended for desert reptile species that are consistently exposed to harsh sunlight. The principal use of this UVB light is in tiny vivariums, or enclosures no bigger than 600 mm (2 feet). This UVB reptile lamp may be installed in standard screw-fit lamp holders. Cutting off the clutter, it does not need a separate ballast. Since the lights consume less electricity and generate a lot less heat than UVB tubes, they are highly energy-efficient.
Apart from its efficiency, the UVB light can improve a reptile's appetite, movement, and behaviour during reproduction.
