Fleas can cause significant discomfort and pain for pets and can even lead to bleeding from excessive scratching and biting. Frontline Spot On for Extra Large Dogs comes in a pack of 6 Pipettes and is an easy-to-use topical solution applied to dogs weighing over 40-60kg. It contains fipronil and (S)-methoprene, two active ingredients that kill fleas and ticks. It also helps prevent and control biting lice, providing long-lasting protection for dogs and peace of mind for pet owners. The non-systemic mode of action means that Frontline Spot On active ingredients are only absorbed on the surface of the skin and will not enter the pet’s bloodstream.
This means that fleas and ticks must come into direct contact with the product for it to be effective. Frontline Spot On contains a neurotoxin that attacks fleas' and ticks’ nervous systems, causing them to become disoriented and die. Dogs and puppies must be at least eight weeks old to be eligible for Frontline Spot On. This treatment protects your pup from flea infestation for up to two months and ticks for up to one month.
