Senior Dog Senior Dog

Facts
Your dog will be considered a senior at the age of 7. The average life span of a dog is 12-14 years old, however the oldest living dog was recorded at 21 years old.

Environment
Senior dogs may develop arthritis and aching muscles and joints. Provide a soft bed to maximize their comfort and reduce strenuous exercise to gentle walks.

Seasonal Tips
Provide your senior dog with a warm place to sleep, as they will feel the cold more. Consider the weather conditions when taking your dog for a walk as they may find certain conditions uncomfortable.
