Facts
Rats are surprisingly very hygienic animals and spend more than 40% of their time cleaning themselves. They can live from 2-4 years old and grow on average from 14-18 inches (35-45cm).
Environment
Rats like to have separate areas for feeding, sleeping and exercise, so the cage should be as large as possible.

Position your cage in a quiet area away from direct sunlight and protected from draughts.
