Facts
Cockatiels originate from Australia and are another member of the parrot family. Cockatiels have an average life span of 12 to 14 years. They are very social and intelligent birds.
Environment
It is important to get the largest cage or outside aviary as possible to allow sufficient room for flight. Cockatiels are very active birds and enjoy doing tricks so provide a variety of toys and perches to keep them entertained.
Seasonal Tips
You should always position your cage away from draughts and direct sunlight. Spray your bird’s feathers occasionally with a mist spray so they do not become dry.
