Chipmunk
Facts
Chipmunks are naturally ground dwelling animals and are excellent climbers. The average life span of a chipmunk can range from 2-5 years old for males and over 6 years old for females. They can grow up to 11 inches (28cm).
Environment
Chipmunks can be housed on their own however they are social animals and enjoy company. Your chipmunk will require a large cage at least 4ft x 3ft x 4ft (120cm x 90cm x 120cm).
Seasonal Tips
Ensure that your chipmunk is housed away from direct sunlight and away from harsh winds and draughts if kept outside.
