Budgerigar Budgerigar

Facts
Budgerigars also known as budgies are small colorful birds that originate from Australia. They are thought to be sub-species of the parrot family, making the budgerigar one of the smallest parrot species in the world. The average lifespan of house budgies is between 8-10 years old.

Environment
Budgerigars can be housed either alone or in pairs in a cage that is large enough to allow your budgie to stretch its wings from perch to perch.

Seasonal Tips
You should always position your cage away from draughts and direct sunlight.
