Jollyes Dereham had a Charity Day on June 7th where it rained all day but it did not dampen anyones spirits. Heffalumps - mastiffs were in store and customers had to try and guess the weight of the dog and several people tried this. Venture Farm Cat Rescue and P.A.C.T Animal Charity were also in-store with fun and games for all. Cambridge Ferret Society bought some ferrets along in-store which were a great hit with the kids and grown ups alike. The short straw went to Team Weymouth Husky Racing as they stayed outside in the wet and had a lot of people going to their van to say hello to their wonderful dogs. We had a in-store raffle which raised over £150 and we even had the Jollyes cat greeting everyone so all in all despite the weather good fun was had by all.
