Adrian Mullan, Jollyes Petfood Superstores' Coleraine manager, has been bitten by the fundraising bug. A couple of months ago he jumped from the skies and now he's planning to hit the roads, well one main road - the road from Londonderry and Coleraine.
On the 24th June Adrian is completing a sponsored cycle from his local Jollyes store in Londonderry to the Jollyes Coleraine store which he manages and then back! This 64 mile cycling adventure will all be in aid of the PDSA.
The PDSA is the UK's leading veterinary charity, caring for the pets of people in need. They provide free veterinary treatment to more than 4,650 sick and injured animals each working day and promote responsible pet ownership.
Adrian said: "I am always up for a challenge and one day while I was driving over the Coleraine Mountain I suddenly had the idea of tackling it on a bike. I chose the PDSA as my sponsored charity as they do so much for animals in great need as well as educating pet owners, which I believe is vitally important."
All the Jollyes teams from across the 11 stores in Northern Ireland are wishing Adrian the best of luck. Jim Warke, Jollyes Regional Manager for Northern Ireland said: "We are always waiting with baited breath to see what crazy fundraising idea Adrian will come-up with next! We are sure he will do the cycle in record time and it is wonderful that the money he raises will go to the PDSA. They are a very worth while cause and an organisation that Jollyes continues to work alongside with and support."
All support is very welcome and a fundraising bucket can be found at the Jollyes Coleraine store.
