A pet store manager is set to get on his bike for charity next month.
Adrian Mullan, is the manager of Jollyes in Coleraine.
On Sunday, May 10, Adrian will cycle from his home in Londonderry to work in Coleraine and back again for Foyle Hospice.
Adrian has been a long supporter of the Hospice.
“My younger brother died of leukaemia back in 1996, and he spent his last year at the Foyle Hospice.
“They do a great job, so each year I try and do something to pay them back.”
The bike ride is a fundraiser for the charity’s West Highland Challenge, which will see brave locals trekking over 40 miles before climbing Ben Nevis, Adrian will take part in the challenge on May 21.
“I’m a keen cyclist, so I thought that the bike to work idea would get me fit and help me reach my £1,000 target for the Highland Challenge, “ explained Adrian.
“It’s a 70 mile-round trip, I’ve done it before, so let’s hope I can do it again.”
Adrian wishes to thank everyone who has sponsored hime already. If you would like to sponsor Adrian call at Jollyes in Coleraine.
We wish Adrian all the best with his charity challenge!
