Julie celebrates with Jollyes Assistant Banbridge Store Manager Jim Haughey

It was just a normal petfood shop for Julie McCullough that is until she reached the till at her local Jollyes Petfood Superstore in Banbridge. It was then that it was announced that she was the store's 50,000th customer! Soon she found herself sipping on Champagne and smiling for the cameras.

Julie has been a regular customer at Jollyes in Banbridge since the store opened. In fact, it just so happens that amazingly she was the store's first ever customer as well! She said: "It was wonderful to be Jollyes 50,000th customer; it is incredible to think that so many people have shopped at the store since I first did."

Derek Cummings, Jollyes Banbridge Store Manager, commented: "Julie is a familiar face at this store and I'm glad she enjoyed her complimentary bottle of bubbly. Our aim at Jollyes is to not only to promote pet welfare but also to ensure we have happy customers. It is great to celebrate such a customer milestone in the short space of time in which the store has been open."

When asked why she was such a regular Jollyes customer Julie explained: "It is because of the wide range of products that Jollyes stock at excellent value for money. As well as the friendly and helpful advice I have continually received from Jollyes staff." Julie added: "I have a Labrador and Jollyes Lifestage Dog Food is the only feed I use, it is 100% natural and has huge health benefits for my dog. I also have hens and tropical fish and I use Jollyes products for them all."

The Banbridge store is on Castlewellan Road, and is open Monday to Saturday, 9am - 6pm and 1pm - 6pm on Sundays.
